Develop a move plan and schedule
A plan helps to keep your project on-track and on-time, facilitate decision making and minimize surprises. And cuts down on the “overwhelm.”
Design a floor plan for your new space
It’s hard to let go of loved possessions, but you’ll likely have regrets if you “take it all with you”. Let our experience work for you, so that your new home works for you. We aim to optimize comfort, safety & functionality of your new space. All of your possessions may not fit, but we do our best to accommodate your “wish list”.
Recommend and schedule a moving company
We have vetted resources for all types of moves, local and long distance. We’ll recommend and schedule a mover, or you can pick your own.
Pack, unpack and get you resettled
Don’t lift a finger. We’ll professionally pack your possessions before the move. On move day, we supervise the movers and the placement of furnishing according to the floor plan. Then we’ll unpack and get you re-settled, so that you’re living in your new space, usually by 5 pm. We make the beds, plug in the lamps, connect the electronics, hang the clothes, set up the kitchen, unpack boxes, and haul away the packing materials, more or less, until you’ve had enough for one day!
Liquidate unwanted possessions
We know what to do with what you don’t want. We’re experienced and credentialed liquidators – we have years of real market experience and know your best sales options. Trust us to maximize value and minimize liquidation costs.
Clean out remaining contents
We’ll donate and/or discard any remaining contents and get your house broom-swept clean.
Coordinate & supervise house closure tasks
We’ll round up the resources (landscapers, painters, cleaning services, etc.) to get your home ready to list or close on time.
